Happy New Year, sweet friends! Here we are—January 1, 2026—and I’m sitting in my quiet kitchen with a steaming mug of tea (hot for once!), watching the first sunrise of the year paint the sky soft pink. My girls are still asleep after a late-night celebration filled with sparkling grape juice, board games, and way too many cookies. It’s one of those rare, peaceful moments that feels like a gift straight from God. Every new year, I feel that familiar pull to set big goals: get organized, meal plan perfectly, exercise every day, read more books, be the most patient mom on the planet. But if I’m honest, by February most of those resolutions feel heavy instead of hopeful. This year, I’m trying something different—I’m leaning hard into grace. Grace for the days when the laundry pile wins. Grace for the moments I raise my voice when I promised myself I wouldn’t. Grace for slow progress, messy middles, and cold tea (again). God doesn’t ask us to have it all together before He loves us fiercely—He meets us right in the middle of our ordinary, imperfect lives. And that truth? It’s the foundation I want to build 2026 on. Less striving, more surrendering. Less perfection, more presence.

That’s why I designed a few new tees in my Etsy shop, WithPurposeTees, just for this season. Simple reminders I need on my shirt some days: “His Grace is Enough,” “Chosen & Redeemed,” and a cozy “Rooted in Love” design that feels like a hug. They’re soft, everyday pieces perfect for layering under a sweater while chasing kids or curling up for bedtime stories. Each one is created to whisper truth to your heart when motherhood feels loud. If you’re stepping into this new year needing a little encouragement too, I’d love for you to stop by the shop: WithPurposeTees on Etsy. Here’s to a year filled with fresh mercy every morning, deep breaths, and celebrating the small victories. We’ve got this, mamas—one grace-filled day at a time.

What’s one thing you’re releasing or embracing in 2026? Drop it in the comments—I read every single one and love walking this journey with you.

XOXO,
Mary

P.S. New spring designs are already in the works… stay tuned!
