Healthy Snacks That Will Make Your Child’s Mouth Water

As a parent, I am continuously managing what is going into my children’s mouths. As toddlers, it is inedible objects and the fear of choking. As they grow a bit older, it becomes sugar, candy and sweets galore. I am very health conscious and try to teach my kids the importance of feeding our bodies right but I am also aware that they are kids and want to splurge a bit at times (like us all right?). So how do you, as a parent, find a balance? I have spent HOURS creating a repertoire of recipes my kids will enjoy and feel like they are getting their “sweets” fix…minus the bad sweets. The list of recipes goes from the most popular in my household to the least popular but still tolerable. LOL

Properly Packing Healthy, Kid-Friendly Snacks and Meals for a Theme Park

A six year old, a 3.5 year old and a 6 month old…

Those are the ages of my three beautiful girls. Those are also the ages of three little ones going to their first amusement park to have yet another new adventure in their short young lives. If you are anything like me, you feel the stress of the trip the day you think up the idea to go on it. What should we pack to eat? Should we pack or buy our food while there? How will the girls do without their naps? What should I pack for snacks? Does the park allow food from the outside? What should the girls wear? What if it rains? etc.

AHHHHHHHH……

Healthy Halloween Treats

If you know my household, you know that I am pretty crazy when it comes to eating clean and making sure we get all of our daily fruits and veggies in. It is so important that kids get a balanced diet and plenty of exercise in a day. I have created a list of healthy holiday treats that will fancy any toddler/preschooler/school-age child/adult. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
